Chameli Saving and Credit Co-operative Society Limited is a community, group and member based co-operative Society established on Dec. 01, 2001, registered under Co-Operative Act. It is located in Ishworpur Municipality Ward NO: 6 of Sarlahi District in Eastern Development Region of Nepal. It is dedicated to the social and economic development of the local community by reducing the poverty. It is providing co-operative microfinance services to the members. It is also involving in a variety of social development programs, such as livelihoods, health & environment, and community empowerment. It strives to raise awareness among the poverty-stricken and the downtrodden as well as to establish sustainable development to guarantee basic necessities and achieve self-sufficiency, thus creating a legitimate society. 

30 Percent of the people of the country who are self-sufficient,25 percent of the people are taking banking services  because they have mortgages but 45 percent of the people of madhesh province who are poor, destitute and have no rights. They are far from the reach of banks and because they do not have collateral, banks have not been able to cover them But it is microfinance and other programs conducted by cooperative organizations that reach the poor and underprivileged groups and collect loans, investments and savings without collateral in this work microfinance institutions, non-governmental organization, and cooperative organizations are providing resources and means to about 5 lakhs poor families. wholesale loan support to these organization is being provided by financial institutions such as small cooperative bank, while technical assistance is being provided by swavalamwan bikash kendra for the past 30 years, while some cooperative organizations collect resources and provide services by themselves. it is coming. Currently the youth of the country are migrating abroad while the use of mobile phones among the youth is becoming a victim of problems such as drug so the organization has to do zero poverty zero unemployment, zero carbon emissions and to do actions like planting clean tress for climate change. three zero clubs are constructed and operated.
